The US Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) hosts National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, April 24 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
The Westerville Division of Police (WPD) will help collect unwanted prescription medications at the Walgreens store located at 748 N. State St. Franklin County Sheriff's deputies will be on-hand at the Kroger at 55 W. Schrock Rd. from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Those unable to make it to the event can drop off prescription in the marked receptacle in the lobby of WPD headquarters, located at 29 S. State St. Please first consult the City's Medication Disposal web page to confirm what can be placed in this container.
