City of Westerville, OH
Home MenuBulk Water
The City of Westerville Water Division offers potable bulk water at the Westerville Water Plant (312 W. Main St.) from an overhead water fill station during normal business hours.
Bulk Water is often used for cisterns, pool filling, construction, street cleaning, power washing, landscaping and more. The water is the same high-quality water we provide to the community. The City encourages users to consider bulk water for special projects as an efficient means of obtaining large amounts of water priced the same as regular water customers without the added sewer charges.
Are You a Bulk Water Hauler?
Access to the Water Plant and the bulk water fill station is available Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. - 6 p.m. New and existing customers are required to fill out the bulk water permit application.
Once an application is approved, an email will be sent with a fill station keypad access code unique to the applicant. For each use of the fill station, it will be necessary to record the date, time, vehicle number, employee initials and total estimated gallons on a log sheet located in a job box at the station.
For billing purposes, a computer-generated log sheet displaying the date, time, code number and water volume are used to create a monthly bulk water invoice. If the bulk water fill station is not accessed during the calendar month, there is no charge. If the fill station has been accessed during the calendar month, water will be billed at standard published rates, the minimum monthly bill for bulk water use is currently $25.
