Education: B.S. and M.S., Electrical Engineering, New Jersey Institute of Technology; M.B.A., University of Dayton; Graduate, The Executive Program at Darden, University of Virginia.

Occupation: Senior Vice President, Transmission, American Electric Power (retired 2013); Founder, The Grid Group LLC in 2013.

Family: Wife Fernanda, Daughter Laura, Sons Rick (& his Wife Melissa with Grandsons Casey & Miles), and Jim (with Grandson Logan and Granddaughter Keira).

Community Service Activities: COTA Board, Westerville Area Resource Ministry (WARM) Board, Westerville Industry & Commerce Corporation, Westerville Finance/Audit Committee, Westerville Planning Commission, Westerville Parks Foundation, Westerville representative to Otterbein's Innovation Center (The Point), Westerville Traffic Commission, Westerville Visitors & Convention Bureau, Westerville Cable Telecommunications Commission, Westerville Parks & Recreation Advisory Board and Westerville-Blendon Fire Advisory Committee.

Most Memorable City Council Accomplishments:  Westerville Business & Economic Development, Development of a Roadway System to meet that growth, Development of Parks, Recreation, Trails, Gateways & Streetscapes to promote our “City Within a Park,” a tagline I coined in 2002, Improvements in Uptown, Implementation of a Five-Year Financial Planning Process, and Increasing First Responder Staffing to meet City needs.

What I Love About Westerville: What I love about Westerville and what we have accomplished as a Council with City Staff, is the family-friendly “City within a Park” approach we have provided for our Citizens.
