If your violation does not require a personal court appearance, and you do not wish to contest it in court, you are required to pay the waiver/fine by the court date listed in the box at the bottom of your citation. Payment can be made with cash, money order or checks drawn on a local bank. Visa and Mastercard are accepted either in person or by following the online payment prompts.

NOTE: IF YOU DID NOT SHOW PROOF OF INSURANCE TO THE OFFICER AT THE TIME OF THE TRAFFIC STOP YOU ARE REQUIRED TO SHOW PROOF TO THE COURT OR TO THE OHIO BUREAU OF MOTOR VEHICLES.

IF YOUR VIOLATION DOES NOT REQUIRE A PERSONAL COURT APPEARANCE, AND YOU DO NOT WISH TO CONTEST IT IN COURT, YOU ARE REQUIRED TO PAY THE WAIVER/FINE BY THE COURT DATE AND TIME LISTED IN THE BOX AT THE BOTTOM OF YOUR CITATION. Mail

  1. Sign the reverse side of the citation.
  2. Make your check or money order payable to The City of Westerville-Violations Bureau for the total amount due (do not mail cash).
  3. Include the citation, your payment and a copy of your proof of insurance (if it was not shown to the police officer).
  4. Mail to:

In Person

Payments are accepted at the Clerk of Court’s office located in the Westerville Justice Center, 229 Huber Village Blvd., during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Closed holidays.

Night Drop Box

A drop box is available 24 hours a day in the lobby of the Justice Center located at 229 Huber Village Blvd.
