Where is the best place to watch the fireworks?
The recommended viewing area is the Westerville Sports Complex (325 N. Cleveland Ave.).
Where are the fireworks set?
Heritage Park, which will close at 7 a.m. on July 4 in preparation.
Will the fireworks be cancelled if it rains?
The fireworks will take place rain or shine; however, in the event of thunderstorms, they may be postponed. Please follow our social media outlets or this page for real-time updates.
Why did you move the fireworks display from the Public Service Department?
Established in 2021, the new location provides a safe vantage point for more people to view the show.
Can I have consumer-grade fireworks at home?
No. The state's new fireworks law took affect July 3, 2022. The City has exercised its right to opt-out of this law meaning the rules remain the same as prior years. Read more from the Westerville Division of Fire.
