Construction debris:

No private contractor construction debris is accepted. It should be hauled away by the contractor.

Small amounts of debris from a home remodeling job performed by the resident are acceptable if completely contained inside Rumpke's waste cart, your personal garbage cans, or tied in bundles no more than 4' in length and 2’ in diameter. The weight of a can or bundle should be under 50 lbs.

Construction debris includes items like drywall, pieces of wood, insulation, Styrofoam, and other construction materials. Windows and mirrors can be set out if the glass is covered in cardboard and taped so it is contained if it breaks, and they don’t exceed 4’x4’ in size. Doors should be cut down to pieces smaller than 4’x4’.

For larger home remodeling done by the resident a container should be rented to contain and haul away the debris or the resident can take the debris to the landfill themselves.
