The City of Westerville conducted a housing study to assess the local housing market, identify gaps in the types and numbers of housing units available, describe factors contributing to these gaps and identify potential strategies to address them.

One of the chief research questions that was to be answered by the study were concerns regarding the need and support for more “attainable” housing types in the City. A housing stock that supports people and households with diverse needs, including young families, the elderly, people with disabilities, and people working low-wage jobs is an important asset for business recruitment, economic development and community health.

We appreciate all input provided as the City of Westerville developed this Housing Study and we will use this page to keep everyone updated on any additions to it.
