The Westerville Electric Division is upgrading electric lines in the Twelve Trees area with cable which can better prevent future outages and improve electric reliability.

General Project Schedule (Weather Permitting)

• July-August: Tree trimming and ground clearing
• August - October: Construction and installation of the upgrades

More About the Project
City staff work thoughtfully to minimize the impact to property and trees while planning any critical improvements. This project includes some tree pruning and ground clearing near the poles, the replacement of electric poles, installation of new cable and the restoration of affected properties. Restoration will include laying top soil, seeding and strawing to return the property to its original condition following the completion of the project.
