Electric Division

The Westerville Electric Division is the only municipally owned and operated suburban electric provider in Central Ohio. The division is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week, in order to provide immediate response to outages and other customer problems.

Public Service Department

Activities in the Service Department include street maintenance, environmental maintenance, fleet maintenance and utilities. Four divisions work interdependently to maintain the City's infrastructure (streets, water and sewer lines, storm sewer, etc.)

Division of Water

The City-owned facility has the capacity to produce 7.5 million gallons of water daily for its customers. Plant personnel are happy to answer any questions regarding water quality, pressure, and efficiency.

Utility Billing

Utility Billing, a division of the Finance Department, is responsible for meter reading, billing, collection, and customer service for approximately 16,000 accounts with the following utility services: electric, water, sewer and refuse.
