SPRING VALLEY GREENWAY RESTORATION DEDICATION
Please join us for the dedication of the Spring Valley Greenway and an educational workshop on Saturday, October 3. The dedication ceremony starts promptly at 10 a.m. followed by hands-on programs including stream exploration, a tour of the greenway, an invasive plant species removal project and a backyard wildlife activity.

Potential Speakers: Mayor Fosselman / Randy Auler / OEPA Rep / MAD
Invites will be sent to City Council, Boards, City Administration, and businesses/organizations that helped with the restoration project. Neighbors that border the Spring Valley Greenway will also be invited.
Program will include:
Opening Comments/Introductions/Recognitions - 10 to 15 minutes
...following the dedication:
Organized volunteers will lead an invasive removal project,
MAD will offer waterway education and exploration opportunities.
MAD will be giving away wildflower seeds to those in attendance.
Parks and Recreation will offer a wildlife program.
Parks and Recreation will offer refreshments to those in attendance.
Displays will be constructed to show the 'before' and 'after' pictures of Spring Valley Greenway.
POD and MAD will present educational sign panels.
These activities will continue until the dedication is over.
