To commemorate the 23rd anniversary of September 11, the City is partnering with OBLSK Interactive to produce a evening artistic exhibit on September 10 and 11. This installation will serve as an impactful memorial to the lives of citizens and first responders that were lost in the tragic event. Cooperation, unity and strength are central themes in the installation's design. The sculpture will be made of four lengths of silk fabric that will combine together to create an illuminated unity "knot" -- a reminder that when we come together, we can overcome adversity, tragedy and conflict. Accompanying the sculpture will be a projection of the words highlighted in the design of the park.
