The Planning and Development Department is responsible for all aspects of development of the physical environment within the City of Westerville.

The department consists of the following Divisions which through the development review process ensure that changes to the physical environment conform to adopted plans, laws, policies, professional standards, community expectations and Board or Commission approvals.

The City of Westerville will manage and make available public records in accordance with all applicable laws, ordinances, and the City Records Retention schedule.

Enjoy 4th Friday in Uptown Westerville. Shop vendors, enjoy music on the lawn of City Hall (21 S. State St.) and grab a DORA drink from one of many Uptown restaurants.

Safety Tip: The Westerville Division of Police (WPD) encourages parents to snap a clear photo of their children as they arrive at the event. Should you become separated, this photo will help WPD officers reunite lost children with their families.
