The Planning and Development Department is responsible for all aspects of development of the physical environment within the City of Westerville.

The department consists of the following Divisions which through the development review process ensure that changes to the physical environment conform to adopted plans, laws, policies, professional standards, community expectations and Board or Commission approvals.

The City of Westerville will manage and make available public records in accordance with all applicable laws, ordinances, and the City Records Retention schedule.

Month of Caring

Westerville Parks and Recreation will be collecting donations at the Westerville Community Center (350 N. Cleveland Ave.). Each week a different group of items will be collected to be donated to the Westerville Area Resource Ministry (WARM) and Westerville Caring and Sharing.

Donation Items:

Monday, Nov. 27 - Sunday, Dec. 3: NEW toys for ages 10 and under (no used toys please), gift cards for ages 11-19.

Monday, Dec. 4 - Sunday, Dec. 10: Personal hygiene (soap, deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, etc.).

Monday, Dec. 11 - Sunday, Dec. 17: Pasta/canned meats and other staples (chicken, tuna, peanut butter, hot and cold cereals, etc.).

Monday, Dec. 18 - Friday, Dec. 22: Cleaning supplies/paper products (laundry soap, paper towels, toilet paper, tissues, etc.).

 

Please drop off all donation items to the main entrance of the Community Center.
